Shipping policy
HUNT offers in-store pickup for our local customers who wish to purchase online. All goods and furnishings must be picked up within 10 days of purchase unless prior arrangements have been made. all goods that remain after 10 days will start to incur a storage fee of $3/day, and fine art and furniture at $10/day until they are picked up.
All orders are processed within 24 - 36 hours for in-stock items, and are shipped out Monday through Friday. Once your order has shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information is sent to the email address provided at checkout. Orders placed on Friday will ship the following Monday.
HUNT offers UPS Ground, 2 Day, and Overnight Services, as well as USPS Parcel Select and Priority Mail Services.
HUNT is not responsible for shipments once in the hands of the selected carrier. For inquiries beyond tracking provided, please follow up with the chosen carrier directly.
It is best to contact HUNT directly via email or phone to arrange any expedited shipping needs. We will do our best to get your packages out without delay.
In the event of an item being out of stock or on order, HUNT will reach out directly with more information.
For items and furnishings requiring white glove delivery or freight, it is best to contact HUNT prior to making the purchase online, however if you have already completed checkout, HUNT will reach out via the contact information provided to discuss delivery options with you based on final destination and customer preferences. Customer will be responsible for all associated delivery costs.
For purchased items requiring white glove delivery or freight, these must be picked up within 14 days of purchase unless otherwise discussed with HUNT. All purchased items not collected during this period could become subject to storage fees of not less than $10 per item per day. If purchased items are not collected within 60 days of initial date of purchase and HUNT has not consented to continuing to store them then the purchaser will be deemed to have defaulted under these terms and HUNT reserves the right, at our own discretion, to exercise any legal remedies available to us including but not limited to: i) cancelation of the sale, ii) reselling the items, iii) retention of all amounts already paid by purchaser to HUNT which would be considered reasonable remuneration for the processing, storage, labor fees HUNT would have to incur as a result of purchaser's breach of these terms, iv) any other action deemed necessary and reasonable under the circumstances.
If you receive an item that damaged, please contact us immediately. All damages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of your order along with photos so that a claim can be filed with the carrier. Do not throw away the box or the damaged goods. Missing or lost orders must be reported to online@shop-hunt.co within 7 days of expected delivery date.
SHIPPING MATERIALS
HUNT aims to use sustainable shipping materials whenever possible.
The environmentally friendly loose fill we use for packages is made from starch based renewable resources - it disintegrates in water, is dust free and anti-static.
Our shipping boxes are recyclable cardboard and the newsprint sheets we use are made from 100% recycled paper.
RETURNS
Items purchased online may be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit or exchange. All items must be in their original packaging and condition.
All fine art is final sale.
To return merchandise, first contact online@shop-hunt.co to let us know which item(s) you will be sending back.
Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were sent including original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse items that do not match these conditions.
Once items are received by HUNT, a refund will be issued as store credit. Store credit does not expire.
Customers are responsible for any shipping costs for returns and exchanges. HUNT does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to HUNT. Merchandise may also be returned in person at HUNT, located on Center Street in Carmel Valley Village.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at online@shop-hunt.co if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please send photos of the item(s) including any damage to packaging so that we can evaluate the issue and we can figure out the best way to resolve.
