Carmel Tree House
From the first moment I walked down the hillside stairs to the entry courtyard of this funky 197Os Carmel-by-the-Sea tree house I immediately knew I had just happened upon something special. I did not know for how long, but I was home. And just like that, I moved in the following month.
Just a couple blocks from Ocean Ave., this skylight rich A-frame structure overlooks a lush green patch of land that is protected and can never be developed. The natural light abounds and making what is a relatively small footprint feel much larger.
This light filled sanctuary provided refuge during one of the most challenging times in my life. A journey that has helped me evolve into the woman that I am today. And for that I am forever grateful.
Carissa lived in this house from October 2019 to January 2021.
