The "Ukhamba" or beer basket is a bulb-shaped basket with a lid traditionally used to store beer. They are given as wedding gifts as the designs have specific meaning. Handmade in South Africa. Each basket is completely unique, and an artisan may spend up to six months weaving a single piece.
